Pain Will Go Away

img_1970Corrie ten Boom sat in the dark prison cell. She curled herself into a ball and cried.

She had just seen her father for the last time. Her sister had just been separated from her. She didn’t know if she would ever see any of the people she loved again.

Her heart was broken. She went through bad days. But her pain soon lifted from her.

We all go through painful times. We experience heartbreak. We cry many tears.

The pain is sometimes to difficult to handle.

Concentrating on the bad, miserable circumstance will not help though. It will only lead to more pain and misery.

After a while, Corrie ten Boom turned to God. She fixed her eyes on Him in her distress.

When you are in a painful time or experience, you must look to God for help and deliverance.

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

The Lord sees you. He knows what you are facing. And He will save you from your pain.

Psalm 147:3 says that the Lord “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

God will heal you from your pain. He will heal you from the wounds and scars that you may have.

Your pain will not last forever. The Lord will use that pain for good.

The pain and suffering that you may be experiencing now will not compare with the glorious purpose that the Lord has for you.

You are His child. You are His chosen.

The pain will not be with you forever. It is only temporary.

Keep reminding yourself of that. And that God is good. He is so good.

In His amazing love,
