To be confident in someone, you have to trust them. You wouldn’t place your life in the hands of a person you didn’t trust. Would you?
Trusting someone could be defined as placing something or someone in the care of a person, where you know it will be safe. To entrust the object to that person.
It’s hard to give our most precious valuable to any person because all humans are sinners. Even the most trustworthy human could have a chance to be untrustworthy.
But there is One who will not turn His back on us. There is One who always carries out what He says. There is One who is completely and undoubtedly trustworthy.
Yet, do you entrust your life in His hands?
In the worst circumstances, He is with you. When it seems as if your life is over, He is with you. With every problem that you face the Lord is with you.
As the Psalmist stated in Psalm 56:3, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
This should be our cry daily. We should entrust our well-being to the only One who knows how each minute of our lives will complete a bigger picture.
If we are living the way that the Lord has called us to, we have nothing to fear. We just have to trust the Lord with our all.
In His amazing love,
