There are so many definitions of love out there. You can love your brother, your spouse, your friend, and your dog in totally different ways.
Love is seen differently by each person.
But love is always something that takes work and patience. Without this, love will not be true love.
God’s love is a true love.
He has worked for it. He has given all of Himself for us. He had died on our behalf.
Our Heavenly Father is the only One who will love us fully. His love is true.
No matter what we face in this world, He will be there with open arms. His grace is abundant. It is something we find hope in. It is a love that out-loves all others.
First Corinthians 13 tells of the way we should love. God’s great love checks all of the areas.
He is patient.
He is kind.
He does not envy.
He does flaunt Himself.
He is not provoked.
He does not rejoice in iniquity, but in truth.
He bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things.
He will not fail us.
God’s love is true. When we feel as if we have no love, look to the Lord. Because His love is the truest love you will ever find.
